Cornerstone Expands Salesforce Partnership to Power Workforce Readiness in the Agentic Enterprise

Cornerstone OnDemand has announced an expanded partnership with Salesforce aimed at embedding workforce readiness capabilities directly into enterprise workflows through new integrations with Salesforce technologies, including Agentforce and Slack. The move is designed to support organizations as they adopt “agentic” operating models, where employees and AI-powered agents collaborate to manage tasks, decision-making, and service operations.

The latest integration brings Cornerstone Workforce AI into Agentforce IT Service, HR Service management, and Slack, enabling organizations to access workforce intelligence without leaving the tools employees already use daily. The company said the integration is intended to help businesses make more informed workforce decisions while improving employee readiness and operational agility.

The core of the solution comes in the form of the Cornerstone People Graph, which is essentially a contextual intelligence layer that leverages data gathered by enterprise applications like Salesforce Customer 360 together with collaboration data from Slack. Through constant analysis of the company’s employees’ data, the platform develops a picture of the employee’s expertise, preparedness, and career trajectory. Cornerstone uses its AI-powered agents to apply this knowledge when advising on internal career moves, managing performance discussions, and automating processes using AI.

Cornerstone CEO Himanshu Palsule emphasized that workforce data often remains fragmented across disconnected systems, limiting visibility for HR teams and managers. He said integrating Cornerstone Workforce AI into Salesforce applications helps turn workforce intelligence into actionable insights delivered directly within the flow of work.

The expanded collaboration builds on a year of growing integration efforts between the two companies, including enhanced AI interoperability and the development of a shared architecture designed to support enterprise-scale AI deployments.
