Symetra has announced a comprehensive technical integration with PlanSource, a leading benefits administration technology and services company, embedding its complete portfolio of workforce benefits directly into the PlanSource ecosystem. The strategic collaboration encompasses Symetra’s core group life and AD&D, group disability, and group supplemental health products, providing thousands of employers with a streamlined mechanism to manage employee coverage.
To eliminate operational friction and ease the administrative burden on human resource departments, a dedicated PlanSource team will oversee all plan configuration, implementation, and ongoing management on behalf of Symetra customers. The deeply integrated framework features automated, cloud-native technical features, including automated eligibility data synchronization, single sign-on (SSO) Evidence of Insurability (EOI) processing with live status tracking, AI-driven personalized decision support to guide employee elections, and real-time self-billing generation pulled directly from automated system usage data.
