EB3.Work Unveils Free Prevailing Wage Calculator to Simplify EB-3 Visa Compliance for U.S. Employers

EB3.Work, a preeminent platform assisting U.S. employers in responding to long-term labor deficits through the EB-3 visa program, has introduced a free Prevailing Wage Calculator to make wage determination more straightforward for immigration compliance and workforce planning.

The Prevailing Wage Calculator enables employers and immigration professionals to easily calculate the minimum wage needed to sponsor foreign workers under the EB-3 program based on official statistics from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL). The prevailing wage, determined by the DOL, differs by occupation, region, and job title, rendering compliance a daunting exercise for most organizations. EB3.Work’s new calculator delivers immediate, clear-cut results to assist users in this process with more accuracy and confidence.

“Our mission has always been to help make the EB-3 process more understandable and easier to use for U.S. employers” remarked John Dorer, CEO of EB3.Work. “By offering businesses and immigration experts immediate access to accurate prevailing wage information, this product will remove uncertainty and allow them to make plans with confidence. We believe that transparency is what builds trust and makes the EB-3 program easier to use for employers of all sizes.”

The calculator is designed for staffing companies, HR professionals, and immigration lawyers so that one can enter a job title and location to get prevailing wage estimates based on the DOL’s Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) data applied during the PERM labor certification process.

This opening arrives during a persistent nationwide shortage of labor, with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce noting close to 8.8 million open jobs but just 6.4 million available employees, most notably in critical industries like hospitality, logistics, healthcare, and food service.

“The prevailing wage requirement really is one of the most misunderstood aspects of employment-based immigration,” Dorer said. “With EB3.Work providing a tool that is both free and easy to use, it will help employers take an initial step in long-term sustainable workforce planning.”

The calculator aligns with EB3.Work‘s overall mission to increase transparency, education, and technology in employment-based immigration to simplify compliance while ensuring fairness and integrity throughout the U.S. labor market.
