The calculator is designed for staffing companies, HR professionals, and immigration lawyers so that one can enter a job title and location to get prevailing wage estimates based on the DOL’s Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) data applied during the PERM labor certification process.
This opening arrives during a persistent nationwide shortage of labor, with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce noting close to 8.8 million open jobs but just 6.4 million available employees, most notably in critical industries like hospitality, logistics, healthcare, and food service.
