hireEZ Launches ResumeSense to Detect AI-Manipulated Resumes and Safeguard Ethical Hiring

Share

In response to the growing wave of AI-generated and manipulated resumes, hireEZ has unveiled ResumeSense, a groundbreaking AI integrity feature that helps recruiters detect resume tampering, identify anomalies, and uphold fairness in the hiring process.

Built on hireEZ’s Applicant Match platform, ResumeSense acts as an AI safety layer that flags suspicious resumes, highlights evidence of manipulation, and provides recruiters with suggested follow-up actions. The system is designed to expose hidden text, prompt injections, and deceptive AI tactics used by some candidates to bypass automated screening systems—while keeping recruiters fully in control of their evaluation process.

“Recruiting automation should never compromise fairness or trust,” said Steven Jiang, CEO and Co-founder of hireEZ. “ResumeSense restores balance by helping talent acquisition teams quickly identify deceptive or AI-manipulated profiles, protect their brand integrity, and focus on real, verifiable talent.”

The launch comes as worries rise about AI manipulation in recruiting, says The New York Times. Internal tests by hireEZ showed that 3% to 5% of the resumes analyzed had hidden or misleading elements. ResumeSense seeks to identify these risks early. This boosts transparency. It simplifies interview workflows and helps talent acquisition teams make decisions.

“AI should empower recruiters, not deceive them,” added Shannon Pritchett, Vice President of Marketing at hireEZ. “ResumeSense gives every hiring team the visibility, evidence, and context they need to trust their candidate pipeline again.”

With ResumeSense, hireEZ reinforces its commitment to ethical AI in recruitment, offering a safeguard that ensures technology advances hiring integrity rather than undermining it.
