Elly Unveils New AI-Native Hiring Platform to Simplify Recruiting and Advance Human-Centric Hiring

Elly, an innovative AI-powered hiring company, announced the official launch of its new AI-native hiring platform, signaling a shift in how modern recruiting teams manage talent acquisition. Alongside the platform debut, Elly announced it has raised $8 million in funding led by Sorenson Capital, with participation from Atomic and Next Wave Capital.

According to leadership at Elly, the current landscape of recruiting technology has become overly fragmented, forcing talent teams to juggle multiple disconnected systems that hinder the hiring experience for recruiters and candidates alike. “Recruiting should be about people. Somehow, it became about managing tools,” stated Nic Mahaney, Chief Operating Officer at Elly.

Over the past decade, an influx of point-solution recruiting technologies promised increased efficiency. In practice, however, each tool often addresses narrow parts of the workflow such as sourcing, interviewing or scheduling while creating complexity that frustrates recruiters and creates disjointed experiences for candidates.

Elly’s unified platform was purpose-built to address these challenges by bringing core elements of the hiring lifecycle sourcing, screening, interview coordination and feedback -into one connected system where information and context follow candidates throughout the process.

“Elly wasn’t created to be another feature-rich ATS. It was built to replace the patchwork entirely,” the company noted in outlining its vision.

Elly’s AI continues to operate behind the scenes, handling logistical tasks such as calendar scheduling, feedback capture and follow-up coordination, so recruiters can focus on the human elements of hiring. “There’s no shortage of hype around AI in recruiting. But technology only matters if it actually helps,” said Elly in describing its approach.

According to the company, this launch marks the beginning of a broader mission to eliminate unnecessary tools and restore balance to the hiring process. Delivering a connected system rather than merely additional software is central to Elly’s product strategy going forward.

“Hiring doesn’t need more software. It needs better systems,” the company affirmed.
