Quickbase Acquires Solvice to Boost AI-Driven Routing and Workforce Scheduling

Share

Quickbase has acquired Solvice, which specializes in route optimization and workforce scheduling APIs. This move aims to enhance its AI-powered operations platform. The deal will boost Quickbase’s capacity to assist organizations in managing complex field service, logistics, and workforce operations more precisely and efficiently.

Solvice offers its advanced OnRoute and OnShift APIs. These tools help organizations optimize vehicle routing and automate workforce scheduling. They consider real-world factors like time limits, labor rules, employee skills, and capacity. They also adjust plans dynamically when disruptions occur. By using these features, Quickbase seeks to improve data-driven decision-making in operational workflows.

“At Solvice, we tackle the most complex operational puzzles: routing and scheduling,” said Christophe Van Huele, Founder of Solvice. “We turn deep optimization expertise into solutions that work in the real world, not just in theory. Joining Quickbase will allow us to scale that impact globally and bring powerful decision intelligence to thousands of organizations navigating operational complexity every day.”

Unlike traditional tools that focus on isolated tasks like route mapping or shift assignment, Solvice’s technology evaluates multiple operational factors simultaneously to generate optimized plans. This includes balancing workloads, ensuring compliance, meeting service-level agreements, and managing multi-day scheduling scenarios. Organizations leveraging these capabilities can reduce travel time significantly while improving overall operational efficiency.

“Quickbase has always been dedicated to helping our customers digitize and automate their complex and mission critical workflows,” said Matthew Person, SVP, Corporate Development of Quickbase. “The combination of Quickbase’s 27 years of product depth and experience and Solvice’s intelligent APIs will help our customers move away from ‘just managing work’ and toward intelligently planning and executing it.”

Integration efforts are expected to begin in the second half of 2026, with Solvice’s routing capabilities being embedded into FastField Pro and its scheduling tools incorporated into Quickbase’s core enterprise offerings. In the interim, Solvice’s APIs will remain available to existing users.
