Traditionally, building effective skills assessments has required deep expertise, time, and rigorous validation. Cosmo aims to simplify that process by leveraging insights from CodeSignal’s Talent Science team comprising industrial-organizational psychologists who specialize in designing job-relevant evaluations. By embedding these frameworks into an AI system, the platform allows companies to scale high-quality hiring practices across roles without relying on manual development.

On individual jobs assessments are assessed on relevant job factors, yet still the fairness, reliability and standards of employment are being assured.
Cosmo facilitates a discovery workflows, where hiring teams can enter a job description and be suggested pre-designed assessments depending on the role, or they can build their own content if they need greater specificity.
They also facilitate creation flows, where recruiters can tailor questions or simulations on the fly.
