UKG Brings AI-Driven Workforce Automation to Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise

UKG has announced its integration into Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery, extending its agentic Workforce Operating Platform into a conversational AI environment to streamline HR and workforce operations. The launch includes the UKG People Assist™ agent. You can find it in the Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery and Google Cloud Marketplace. This tool lets employees and managers handle HR tasks directly in the Gemini interface. It understands what users need and their context. This allows for real-time actions like onboarding, payroll coordination, and system provisioning with platforms like ServiceNow. This means no more switching between systems.

The integration blends AI insights with workflow management, speeding up decision-making and execution. This is especially helpful for frontline and front-office teams. Corey Spencer, General Manager and Group Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at UKG, emphasized, “The next generation of enterprise systems will be defined by action, not just insight,” highlighting how the platform enables users to complete tasks conversationally while UKG handles execution. The solution is expected to be generally available in July, with additional AI agents planned to expand functionality within the Gemini ecosystem.
