Alight Unveils Conversational GenAI Assistant to Simplify and Personalize Benefits Enrollment

Alight, Inc., a global leader in human capital cloud-based and technology-enabled services, is introducing the limited launch of its new generative AI-powered benefits guide within the Alight Worklife® platform. Created to revolutionize the 2025 annual enrollment process, the conversational AI solution assists employees in better comprehending and choosing their benefits with more tailored, real-time advice.

The new solution extends Alight’s current AI features by using user-specific data to provide personalized recommendations throughout the enrollment process. It’s designed to make benefit information more accessible, and employees will feel confident in their decision-making while providing employers with more confidence that their workers are enrolling in the proper plans.

The AI assistant, integrated throughout Alight Worklife®, leverages employer-specific plan information, policy, and program details to deliver context-based, human-like conversations. It assists employees with task completion, comparative options analysis, and benefit finalization effortlessly on desktops and mobile devices.

As of Alight‘s 2024 annual enrollment, 96% of enrollees signed up online, with mobile app usage climbing 69% year-over-year—emphasizing an increasing desire for flexible, self-service technology.
Now in pilot with select customers in the 2025 enrollment season, the conversational AI offering will be generally available in 2026, a major milestone toward AI-powered benefits engagement and more intelligent, intuitive employee experiences.
