bswift Introduces Agentic AI to Streamline Enterprise Benefits Implementation

Share

bswift has introduced a set of new agentic AI features that will help transform benefits implementation processes in enterprises while at the same time not compromising the expert supervision and quality controls that the company is widely acknowledged for. The innovation that has just been revealed will help make rather complicated work processes both easier and more accurate and will in the end bring about faster delivery times for the clients.

It is not just the case of adding AI to the existing systems as bswift, on the contrary, has made AI agents that are able to handle work that is typically very time-consuming without losing the human element where the final decisions are always made by the experts. The company pointed out that this method helps the workers to stop doing the repetitive manual configuration tasks and concentrate more on strategic client interaction and quality control instead.

Early deployments of the technology have already produced measurable operational improvements. Tasks that previously required hours of manual setup and multiple review cycles, such as creating benefits classes, can now be completed significantly faster. AI agents analyze plan documents, generate and validate configurations, and present them for streamlined client review. According to bswift, implementation timelines have been reduced by up to 40%, with some projects completed in as little as 90 days.

“We’re picking our spots very deliberately,” said Matt Waldrup, EVP, Product, bswift. “We’re not automating workflows for the sake of it. The stakes are too high, and the complexity is real. We’re focused on applying agentic AI where we can strengthen quality even more, while keeping human expertise at the center.”

The company’s AI investments target several high-friction processes, including benefits configuration, data migration, auditing, payroll integration requirements, and employee enrollment recommendations. AI agents operate within defined workflows and constrained datasets, identifying inconsistencies or unresolved issues that are then escalated to human experts for review.

bswift said the technology is governed through its Mindful AI® framework, which emphasizes transparency, validation, and human oversight throughout every stage of implementation. Additional monitoring agents continuously evaluate outputs and flag anomalies before work progresses further.

“We’ve built a strong track record at bswift when it comes to implementation,” said Justin Burns, SVP, Implementation. “These capabilities extend that foundation — bringing even greater quality, consistency, and clarity to every stage of the process.”

As organizations increasingly look to AI to improve operational efficiency, bswift’s approach reflects a broader industry trend toward combining automation with human expertise to enhance accuracy, compliance, and client experience in enterprise workflows.
