Voya Financial and SinglepointAI Partner to Automate Retirement Plan Onboarding

Share

Voya Financial, Inc. announced a new application programming interface (API) integration with SinglepointAI, bringing next-generation, AI-enabled technology and seamless data connectivity to the retirement plan onboarding experience for third-party administrators (TPAs).

The collaboration addresses a long-standing bottleneck in the retirement services sector. Historically, setting up retirement plans required TPAs to manually extract, format, and input vast volumes of intricate plan provision data across disconnected systems—a tedious administrative hurdle prone to human error and prolonged deployment timelines. By bridging these operational silos, the new digital connection establishes an automated pathway that accelerates market readiness for complex enterprise portfolios.

“TPAs using SinglepointAI will be able to leverage the API connection to digitally transfer plan provision data directly into Voya’s onboarding system, enabling a fast, connected and data-driven experience,” said Amy Vaillancourt, president, Retirement at Voya Financial. “This integration reflects our continued investment in modern, scalable platforms that simplify complex processes and accelerate how retirement plans are brought to the market. We anticipate further expanding our API integrations to continue modernizing how partners exchange information and bring retirement plans to market.”

Mitigating Manual Errors via Cloud-Native Data Integration

The technology links SinglepointAI’s specialized intelligence layer directly with Voya’s proprietary digital onboarding architecture. By shifting toward an automated infrastructure, the system eliminates traditional document tracking loops and provides real-time verification at the point of ingestion.

The unified API architecture optimizes data logistics across three core operational phases:

  • Direct Provision Transference: Moves complex health, welfare, and retirement plan rule structures dynamically between platforms without manual conversion scripts.

  • Enhanced Quality Governance: Minimizes downstream data corruption risks by running immediate structural validation checks on incoming client profiles.

  • Operational Cycle Optimization: Truncates the total elapsed time required to move a corporate sponsor from initial contract signing to an active, compliant platform status.

Elevating System Scalability and Corporate Governance

The rollout aligns with Voya’s enterprise-wide strategy to integrate responsive digital layers into its core record-keeping environments. By utilizing purpose-built data pipelines, the financial services firm enables its ecosystem partners to scale their caseload throughput without inflating administrative overhead or compromising security protocols.

“Voya is focused on building modern, scalable technology that makes it easier for our partners to connect with us and deliver better experiences for their clients,” said Santhosh Keshavan, chief technology & operations officer, Voya Financial. “We take a disciplined, enterprise-wide approach to technology embedding AI, data and automation into our platforms to drive smarter decision-making and operational efficiency.”

“This integration sets a new standard for how data moves across the retirement ecosystem,” said Tom Loch, CEO & Co-Founder, SinglepointAI. “By connecting SinglepointAI directly with Voya’s platform, we’re enabling the data to move efficiently, accurately and securely between systems and delivering a more connected onboarding experience for TPAs and better outcomes for plan sponsors. This is just the beginning.”

The new API connectivity frameworks are fully live and accessible to active partners. Third-party administrators, enterprise benefits consultants, and corporate plan sponsors can analyze system integration protocols, review data-sharing architectures, and schedule an onboarding configuration review by visiting the companies’ official digital technology portals.
