CHG Healthcare Acquires KREWE Anesthesia to Scale CRNA Staffing Capabilities

Share

CHG Healthcare, the leading provider of healthcare staffing with a reputation for physician staffing being the biggest one in the country, is happy to announce its acquisition of KREWE Anesthesia. This move makes sense since CHG Healthcare’s physician-only practice and KREWE’s anesthesia-focused model are two completely different approaches. The new acquisition is part of CHG Healthcare’s larger effort to address the acute shortage of anesthesia providers that has been a huge problem at hospitals surgical centers, and health systems across the country. CHG Healthcare plans to combine the extensive CRNA professional network and deep anesthesia expertise of KREWE with its own vast array of workforce solutions to be able to respond quickly changing situations, shorten the waiting time for the placement of doctors, and increase anesthesia coverage for the facilities that are trying hard to keep their surgical and procedural operations going.

KREWE Anesthesia has built an extraordinary reputation by focusing relentlessly on the unique needs of CRNAs and the facilities that rely on them. Bringing KREWE into the CHG Healthcare family allows us to expand our CRNA staffing capabilities, offering our clients a broader, highly specialized network of providers to keep their operating rooms running and patients receiving timely care.” Reaffirming the shared vision to elevate clinician support, KREWE Anesthesia leadership noted: “Joining forces with CHG Healthcare gives us the scale and resources to accelerate our mission of connecting top-tier CRNAs with health systems in need, while maintaining the personalized, high-touch support our clinicians and clients have always expected.” Ultimately, this acquisition strengthens CHG Healthcare’s position as a comprehensive health system partner, ensuring healthcare organizations can reliably scale their clinical operations to meet rising patient care demands.
