Korn Ferry Completes Acquisition of AMS to Expand Global Talent Consulting

Global organizational consulting firm Korn Ferry has officially completed its acquisition of UK-headquartered AMS from OMERS Private Equity, creating a unified global leader in talent and organizational solutions. Under the terms of the transaction, Korn Ferry paid approximately £473 million and $326 million in cash addressing seller consideration, debt repayment, and transaction obligations alongside issuing 3,118,628 shares of Korn Ferry common stock to the sellers. The merger of the two leading brands is driven by the vision that human resources are the key success factor in business. It combines one of the most comprehensive HR talent portfolios in the industry, made up by approximately 16,000 colleagues and over 130 offices across the world, under one roof.

Korn Ferry, through this acquisition of AMS is able not only to cover more sectors but also to offer deeper insights in the matter of its clients in different parts of the world. The newly integrated entity is a powerhouse combining various strengths of executive search, leadership development, and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) to delivering workforce strategies based on data that drive growth and development of businesses. What this strategic move eventually does is to reinforce Korn Ferry’s consulting model on a platform-native basis, which enables the firm to provide, among other things, human capital management, workforce planning, and talent acquisition solutions on an enterprise-wide basis to the international clients undergoing the complex digital and operational transformations.
