Novorésumé has introduced a new Resume Job Matcher application powered by AI technology with a focus on improving resume optimization when applying for jobs through applicant tracking systems (ATS). It is a totally free service designed to solve one of the main problems of modern recruiting: filtering of resumes before they make it to a human recruiter.
In the view of the developer of the system, a significant amount of resumes does not go past ATS because of the format incompatibility or absence of relevant keywords required by the job description. The new application is aimed at finding the gaps in the language used in resumes, which can affect a person’s chances to be contacted during further hiring process.
Through the use of artificial intelligence, the application is able to compare contents of a resume and its job description counterpart, pinpointing missing words and making suggestions about how to optimize the application to meet job requirements.
