YuJa just boosted its proctoring features significantly by adding a Candidate AI Interview Module to its Verity Test Proctoring Platform, an upgrade aimed at making the security and the reliability of the online hiring process much tighter. It is this new feature that is mainly credited with giving organizations the ability and confidence to hold online interviews remotely while ensuring a candidate’s experience is just as smooth.
Powered by YuJa Verity’s tried and tested proctoring engines, the module employs sophisticated AI surveillance tools that respond to candidate actions and environments minute by minute. It is about guaranteeing fairness by leastening any chance of unauthorized help even as candidates are encouraged to showcase their skills and capabilities genuinely.
It detects a variety of things by smart means in the interview spot such as finding whether there is more than one person and alerting in case there are any objects like the second devices which cause suspicion. Facial recognition which is AI-driven is one of the methods to authenticate the candidate’s identity which is done before and during the interview. Also, for recording to be effective, it’s mandatory to record every minute of the video, audio, and screen, along with 360-degree visuals of the environment around the candidate.

To further protect the integrity of the process, the module restricts access to various tools and functions. Candidates cannot access clipboard functionality, screenshots, downloading files, and virtual cameras. The software will also prevent the opening of any unauthorized windows, application launches, external device connections, and track system activities and internet usage.
The interviewers also benefit from customizable control settings, which allow them to set priority levels for certain behaviors, making their job easier when deciding on who to hire. The module can easily work alongside major video conferencing services like Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
“We are prepared to help organizations and agencies make confident, informed hiring decisions that will drive growth and innovation,” said YuJa’s Chief Executive Officer, Nathan Arora. “YuJa Candidate AI offers our clients a comprehensive set of tools and simplifies the interview experience without complex technical requirements.”
