Accio Data has announced a new integration with Drata aimed at helping organizations automate compliance documentation and improve audit readiness across hiring and background screening processes.
The integration enables Accio Enterprise Platform to integrate with Drata’s security and compliance automation tool, allowing companies to send automated, background screening evidence and status updates directly to Drata. This is intended to help reduce manual administrative efforts while providing HR/security/compliance teams access to employment-related compliance information.
Organizations with compliance tracking needs for standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and GDPR can benefit from this integration. Drata can help reduce pain around governance by automating the creation of documentation for the screening records.
Unlike standard integrations with applicant tracking systems or HR platforms, the Accio-Drata connection focuses specifically on compliance and audit workflows. Background screening requests are still managed outside Drata, but the system automatically synchronizes relevant screening evidence and progress updates within the platform.

“Compliance and audit-readiness are becoming increasingly important considerations throughout the hiring process,” said Cody Reeves, CEO of Accio Data. “Our integration with Drata gives CRAs another way to deliver value to clients by helping automate the connection between background screening and compliance documentation.”
Automated uploading of evidence to Drata employee profiles, live sync-up of screening status, and flexible rules-based triggers for what screening results to display. With the organizations’ configuration, only the pertinent compliance results are displayed and minimized manual follow-up.
Accio explains the same solution would also apply to SaaS and adoption-based industries like healthcare, fintech and enterprise technology where organizations are having to deal with increasing regulation and tighter governance requirements around people management and hiring.
The integration is available through the Accio Enterprise Platform, and customers can configure the Drata-side setup independently using implementation guidance provided by Accio’s support team. The company said the launch is part of its broader effort to expand automation tools that improve operational efficiency and support evolving compliance demands.
