KNEX Technology has introduced an AI Agent Pack for PeopleSoft to make the work of HR easier and to enhance the employee experience through the embedding of AI technology specific to the domain. This is engineered to work well with the current PeopleSoft set ups and the idea is to lift conversational AI in the complicated HR processes without the need of big changes in the systems.
This first version has three main agents that are based on the most common employee and HR issues. A Benefits Explanation Agent helps users better understand eligibility, coverage, and costs by interpreting plan data in clear language. A Payslip Explanation Agent breaks down earnings, deductions, and tax details, while a Leave Management Agent provides projections of future leave balances to support more effective planning.
With the integration of these agents in the workflow process, KNEX hopes that the administration cost will be cut down as well as make the HR processes simpler. The need to use rigid interfaces will be replaced by conversation with the systems to get answers to HR-related queries.

“AI should make enterprise systems easier to use, not more complicated,” said Basheer Khan, CEO of KNEX Technology. “With the AI Agent Pack for PeopleSoft, we’re focused on practical use cases that remove friction from everyday HR interactions. Whether it’s understanding a payslip, navigating benefits, or planning time off, these agents bring clarity directly into the user experience while working within the systems our customers already rely on.”
solution is designed as a complement to existing PeopleSoft functions rather than a replacement. This strategy enables businesses to start using AI gradually, aiming at very effective use cases that provide the value quickly without big change efforts.
In future, KNEX is looking at enlarging the Agent Pack to HR functions like benefits optimization, payroll anomaly detection, workforce management, recruiting intelligence, and compliance monitoring. The release is indicative of the wider industry movement towards feasible, built-in AI solutions which, besides providing enhanced user experience, have desired business results as well.
