The collaboration embeds mandatory, in-person identity and physical location verification across all three of Ontrac’s core staffing verticals: IT and Product, Finance and Accounting, and Elite Technical talent.
The programmatic step addresses a growing security and operational vulnerability within decentralized workplaces: the rise of AI-generated identities, deepfakes, and location spoofing during remote onboarding. Unlike digital screeners and standard background database checks, PinpointVerify utilizes a nationwide network of state-licensed notaries who meet prospective remote contractors in person.

The notary physically confirms human presence, verifies the candidate’s exact geographic coordinates, and matches their physical likeness against government-issued identification to produce a legally binding, notarized validation document before onboarding.
