Share

The Commission, the nation’s preeminent evidence-based credentialing body for over 50,000 case managers and disability management specialists, has announced the expansion of its customized workforce training solutions designed to build future-ready client advocacy professionals. This strategic growth targets health systems, public agencies, and community organizations facing complex care navigation challenges, addressing widespread workforce retention concerns by providing structured, scalable learning frameworks anchored in the core case management process. The Commission’s corporate upskilling initiative is delivered via two primary channels: directly through tailormade enterprise group education programs which have already reskilled more than 450 professionals at one of the nation’s largest county social services agencies and via its streamlined Continuing Education Approval Program™, which allows external education providers and employers to easily convert in-house training into accredited continuing education (CE) credits.

By allowing organizations to seamlessly award credits toward elite Certified Case Manager (CCM®) and Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS®) designations, the infrastructure reinforces workforce retention while systematically elevating frontline care standards across healthcare and social service ecosystems. Highlighting the necessity of continuous, domain-specific upskilling in a volatile industry landscape, Debby Formica, CAE, ICE-CCP, COO of The Commission, stated: “What does it take to build a workforce that can keep up with change? Structured, sustained learning, delivered by organizations who understand how client advocacy professionals work.” Emphasizing the organization’s historic scale and long-term capability to deliver robust educational alignment, Formica concluded: “The Commission has been building this capacity for more than 30 years, and today we are expanding how we put it to use. Whether an employer needs customized training for their team or a continuing education provider wants to reach more than 50,000 certified CCM® and CDMS® professionals, The Commission is ready to partner.”
