Ascensus has appointed Edward Greene as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective September 14, 2026. Greene will report directly to CEO Nick Good and join the company’s executive leadership team to oversee human capital strategy, talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, and corporate culture initiatives.
Greene joins the Dresher, Pennsylvania-based financial services platform from Iron Mountain, where he served as Advisor to the CEO and previously as CHRO, overseeing global HR strategy for 26,000 employees across more than 60 countries. His career includes leadership roles across the financial technology and investment sectors, with executive positions at FactSet Research Systems, Voya Financial, and Fidelity Investments. He holds a law degree from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.
The leadership transition follows significant growth for Ascensus, which currently oversees more than $1.3 trillion in assets under administration and supports over 16 million savers. The firm provides cloud-based administration, AI-enabled analytics, and recordkeeping technology across qualified retirement plans, 529 education programs, and ABLE savings accounts.

“As we continue to grow and evolve, attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent remains essential to delivering for our clients and helping more savers save more,” said Nick Good, CEO of Ascensus. “Edward brings a powerful combination of strategic vision, operational discipline, and deep experience leading organizations through growth and change.”
Greene noted that his focus will center on aligning people strategies with business priorities as Ascensus expands its enterprise footprint. The appointment reflects a broader trend among major FinTech and administration platforms to align human resources leadership directly with digital transformation, M&A integrations, and platform scaling.
