Pearson Acquires Workera to Expand AI-Native Skills Assessment Platform

Pearson has agreed to acquire Workera, an AI-native skills intelligence platform focused on enterprise learning and workforce skills, in a move that will broaden Pearson’s enterprise learning and workforce skills offerings. Workera integrates agentic AI, psychometrics, and adaptive assessment to evaluate demonstrated capability with role-centric scenarios and simulations, providing organizations better visibility into existing workforce capabilities, including AI fluency. Its tech also allow businesses to discover skills gaps, recommend learning actions, validate skill uplift and help talent decisions for hiring, internal mobility, redeployment, and workforce planning. “In the era of AI, an organization’s ability to assess and develop skills will be key.
