Share

Accenture has completed its tender offer to acquire Aidemy Inc., marking a strategic move to strengthen its global reskilling and AI learning services under Accenture LearnVantage. The acquisition will enhance Accenture’s ability to help clients close critical skill gaps and accelerate enterprise reinvention through advanced technologies such as generative AI.

The tender offer, held between August 15 and September 29, 2025, surpassed the minimum number of shares required, confirming the successful completion of the process. Aidemy will now become a subsidiary of Accenture, with remaining shares set to be purchased in the coming months before its delisting from the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Approximately 130 professionals from Aidemy and its group companies—including fact-real, MABOROSHI, and to-R—will join Accenture to bolster AI system development and organizational transformation initiatives.

Founded in 2014 and publicly listed in 2023, Aidemy specializes in AI and digital transformation (DX) services for enterprises and individuals. Its offerings include AI-focused reskilling programs, consulting, and system development, helping companies embed advanced technologies into daily operations.

“There is a growing demand among companies to rapidly drive comprehensive total enterprise reinvention utilizing cutting edge technologies, including generative AI,” said Atsushi Egawa, CEO of Accenture Japan and co-CEO, Asia-Pacific. “By combining the strengths of Aidemy group and Accenture, we can support enhancing competitiveness and sustainable growth by maximizing the potential of our clients’ workforces.”

Aidemy President Akihiko Ishikawa added: “Aidemy group has over its history provided end-to-end support across the AI and DX domains… We are confident that joining Accenture will enable us to further expand our expertise in talent development and our technical capabilities for AI system development.”

The acquisition builds on Accenture’s US$1 billion investment in LearnVantage, announced in March 2024, which aims to accelerate global reskilling initiatives. Aidemy now joins a growing list of acquisitions—including Udacity, Award Solutions, TalentSprint, and Ascendient Learning—designed to expand Accenture’s AI-driven learning ecosystem.
