At its annual UKG Aspire 2025 conference, global HR and workforce management leader UKG unveiled the Frontline Worker Network, an industry-first, AI-driven experience designed to improve the wealth, health, and daily lives of frontline employees. Early partners in this initiative include Chime, TurboTax, and OnePay, with more collaborations expected in 2026.
Unlike traditional perks or discount platforms, the UKG Frontline Worker Network delivers personalized guidance, advice, and incentives directly within the UKG platform—without requiring users to download additional apps or visit external websites. Powered by UKG Bryte™ AI, the system leverages real-time work data to anticipate employees’ needs across three critical areas:
-
Financial Wellness: Tools to help employees manage and optimize their finances based on pay patterns, earnings goals, and work trends.
-
Health: Access to programs that promote physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing both on and off the job.
-
Everyday Essentials: Support for practical needs like transportation, backup childcare, and other resources to ensure consistent attendance and productivity.
A recent UKG global study of over 8,000 frontline workers revealed that nearly half feel their organizations maintain two distinct cultures—one for knowledge workers with flexible perks and another for frontline employees, who represent nearly 80% of the global workforce.

“Despite making up the vast majority of the workforce, most solution providers in the HR and workforce management space are not designing solutions specifically to help the frontline worker,” said Josh Bersin, Founder and CEO of The Josh Bersin Company. “UKG has long embraced the frontline workforce, and the introduction of new innovations like their AI-guided Frontline Worker Network is a powerful example of how meeting the needs of employees can unlock higher levels of productivity, efficiency, and flexibility, helping the business meet its goals.”
Elevating Financial Empowerment
UKG’s initial rollout focuses on financial wellbeing through partnerships with Chime, TurboTax, and OnePay—helping employees better manage earnings and streamline personal finance tasks. The company is also integrating its UKG® Wallet earned wage access tool directly into the UKG Pro® mobile app, simplifying access to wages before payday without the need for a separate application.
“Tens of millions of frontline employees already rely on UKG for everyday tasks like punching in, requesting time off, and checking their pay — and we’re now transforming those transactional tasks into micro-moments of engagement that matter to support and delight people,” said Suresh Vittal, Chief Product Officer at UKG. “As an essential people-focused feature of the UKG Workforce Operating Platform, the Frontline Worker Network provides our customers with an entirely new way to help people and teams thrive.”
Looking ahead, UKG plans to expand the Frontline Worker Network throughout 2026 to include additional wellness and lifestyle partners, further strengthening its mission to support the holistic needs of frontline workers worldwide.
