Atos Partners with Graia to Deliver Real-Time Voice Translation in the Digital Workplace

Share

Atos has entered a strategic partnership with AI platform Graia to address one of the most persistent challenges in global organizations: language barriers in everyday workplace interactions. The collaboration brings real-time, bi-directional voice translation into Atos’ Digital Workplace ecosystem, transforming how service desk teams support employees across borders.

The incorporation of Graia’s translation tool, based on AI technology, into the help desk function helps users communicate in natural ways using their own native language, while being translated on the spot. The tool extends its functionality beyond simple transcription, relying on generative AI to understand user requests, extract essential phrases, and include culturally specific prompts to aid agents during live interactions. Additional functionality is also offered through AI-based call scoring.

Atos presently supports over five million users with over 100 languages across the world with digital workplace services. The capability was unveiled with the aim of helping employees who are not proficient in the use or understanding of the English language to better articulate themselves and obtain effective support. The newly unveiled capability will concentrate first on multilingual service desk, with future phases to incorporate employee onboarding and training.

The integration is expected to reduce resolution times, remove communication friction, and support more inclusive working environments. For enterprise clients, it also enables hyper-localized service delivery aligned with regional language, culture, and expectations—without sacrificing efficiency or consistency.

Mike McGarvey, Global Head Digital Workplace Strategy, Atos Group, said: “By integrating Graia’s voice translation technology into our Digital Workplace ecosystem, we are empowering our teams to connect more naturally with clients around the world. This is a leap towards truly inclusive, intuitive and localized digital experiences. Clients in finance, utilities, retail or healthcare sectors have already expressed strong interest and entrusted us with pilot phase projects.”

Graia views the partnership as a strong validation of how generative and agentic AI can enhance employee and customer experiences at scale. Sahil Rekhi, Chief Revenue Officer at Graia, said: “Atos continues to innovate in delivering seamless employee experiences. We are very proud to be selected to power multilingual interactions across their helpdesk operations. Together, we are proving how generative and agentic AI can elevate customer satisfaction and productivity through adaptive, intelligent support.”

With this partnership, Atos reinforces its position as a leader in building future-ready, inclusive digital workplaces powered by practical AI innovation.
