Checkr and Intuit Join Forces to Simplify Background Screening for Growing Businesses

Checkr has entered a new multi-year, preferred partnership with Intuit that seeks to make background checks faster and more accessible to the millions of small to mid-sized businesses in the U.S. The partnership will see Checkr’s background check technology integrated directly into Intuit QuickBooks Online Payroll and Intuit Enterprise Suite.

With hiring becoming increasingly complex due to talent shortages and increasing compliance needs, small to mid-sized businesses are still using separate tools that make hiring slower and more risky. The integration of background checks into core payroll and HR processes is a move that seeks to address a long-standing pain point: allowing small businesses to hire as quickly and confidently as large corporations.

The partnership is a move that seeks to further Checkr’s mission of modernizing trusted hiring at scale and aligns with Intuit’s vision of providing an all-in-one platform that allows businesses to manage operations, finances, and employee growth in one place. With millions of businesses already using the Intuit platform, the integration is a significant move towards a more streamlined hiring and onboarding technology stack.

With the integration, employers will be able to start and monitor background checks right from the employee’s profile, giving them real-time access to the status of the screening.
