TriNet has announced the expansion of its TriNet Ascend program, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing the next generation of sales talent as the need for qualified professionals intensifies in the ever-evolving marketplace. The program, launched in Metro Atlanta in 2025, is being expanded to new markets and supplemented with an expanded curriculum to better equip young sales professionals for sustained success.

Ascend was developed as a means of offering systematic development opportunities that integrate education, training, and advancement. In recognition of the success of the program in its first year, TriNet is now expanding the program to several major markets, including New York City, the San Francisco Bay Area, Denver, Minneapolis, Dallas, and Irvine, California. The decision to expand the program reflects TriNet’s approach to developing talent in closer proximity to its customers and partners.

“The tremendous response to TriNet Ascend’s first year has confirmed what many leaders already know—there is a deep need for sales programs that combine skill-building with real career opportunity for newer professionals,” said TriNet Chief Revenue Officer Shea Treadway. “By expanding TriNet Ascend, we’re doubling down on our commitment to develop future sales leaders who can deliver exceptional value to SMBs and key partners.”

The participants in the program undergo immersive training, experience real-world sales challenges, and learn how to implement TriNet’s solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. The graduates are further developed in terms of onboarding, mentorship by senior leaders, and career paths that help them move ahead in the organization.

“At TriNet, talent development is core to our culture,” said TriNet Chief People Officer Catherine Wragg. “By advancing the TriNet Ascend program, we remain committed to attracting and cultivating top-tier professionals who will foster innovation and deliver meaningful benefits to our customers.”

The program also provides access to advanced sales enablement tools, cross-functional learning, and potential relocation opportunities to TriNet’s field regions. Applications for the expanded Ascend program are now open, with TriNet encouraging candidates from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to apply and begin building a career in sales.
