ZipRecruiter has rolled out a fresh ChatGPT app that will let applicants find jobs via talking to an intelligent AI. The company’s direction is in line with a general trend in lifting recruitment experiences into regular digital tools so that candidates can look for jobs in ways other than traditional boards only.
The ZipRecruiter application offers an opportunity to interact with ChatGPT and convey one’s work tendencies, for instance, the desired pay location work-from-home allowance, and level of experience. After analyzing those parameters, the system proposes jobs that best match the user’s profile and are available on ZipRecruiter’s platform where employers post vacancies.
“Job search doesn’t have to happen in the traditional paradigm of a job site,” said Ian Siegel, co-founder and CEO of ZipRecruiter. “Bringing ZipRecruiter into generative AI tools opens a novel way to drive conversations between job seekers and employers.”

The integration is designed for ease of use. Users can connect the ZipRecruiter app through the ChatGPT app library and initiate a search by typing a prompt using a simple command. For instance, typing a request with a job title and location will immediately produce relevant listings. By adding requirements, such as salary distance job type, or date of posting, you can further filter your results.
After seeing the results, applicants have the option to check out available positions right in the chat system and even get full job descriptions before filling out an application on ZipRecruiter. This simplified procedure lowers barriers in the job hunt, thus providing quicker and more natural access to opportunities.
This new product launch highlights ZipRecruiter plan to engage job seekers through familiar channels and at the same time help employers increase their exposure via the latest AI-driven channels. Incorporating job discovery into conversational platforms is part of the company’s effort to make hiring more lively, personal and widely accessible.
