Exclaimer Integrates with Workday to Streamline Employee Data in Digital Communications

Share

Exclaimer has launched an integration with Workday that is designed to lower the need for manual work and avoid mistakes during large-scale electronic communications. The launch was made in London and Boston, and it allows companies to automatically synchronize information about employees managed by the HR department, such as their job positions and contact data, into email signatures and branding of video conferences.

As more than 75 million people around the world use Workday as the source of information about their workforce, many companies continue to experience problems when integrating HR data with the systems of internal communication. Information about employees that is used for email and video conferences is usually kept in separate databases provided by IT or manually uploaded. As companies grow bigger, this practice may lead to obsolete or contradictory information.

Exclaimer’s findings highlight the scale of the issue. More than a third of IT teams identify email signature management as one of their most time-intensive tasks, while 80% continue to rely on manual processes. Responsibility is also increasingly shared with HR, reflecting the growing intersection between employee data and communication channels. At the same time, nearly all business leaders agree that consistent and accurate signatures are critical for maintaining credibility.

“Workday is where organizations manage their people and Exclaimer is where that data needs to show up,” said Paul Hammond. “Until now, there was no direct path between the two, which meant every hire, every promotion, every role change had to be manually reflected across email signatures and meeting branding. That’s a maintenance burden that compounds as organizations grow, and it’s where errors creep in. This integration closes that gap at the source.”

The integration allows Workday to serve as a primary data source within Exclaimer, alongside platforms like Microsoft Entra ID and Google Directory. This guarantees that the employee data will be automatically synchronized across communication points without being duplicated, while preserving accountability between HR and IT departments.

Through its direct association of worker data with communication tools, Exclaimer hopes to assist companies in managing their data in terms of accuracy, consistency, and governance, especially in cases where even a minor error can be detected.
