Poppulo Acquires Sociabble to Strengthen AI-Powered Employee Experience Platform

Poppulo has acquired Sociabble with the purpose of expanding its employee experience platform that supports the changing era of AI-influenced and agentic workplaces. The acquisition strengthens Poppulo’s skills in digital engagement, frontline communications, employee advocacy, and AI-driven workforce intelligence.

The purchase addresses a problem that many organizations face: communication tools that don’t work well together, employee engagement that is not consistent, and using AI effectively at work is a big challenge. The company says that most enterprises are messing up by just putting AI technologies on top of disconnected systems without proper monitoring or understanding of results, which limits both the effectiveness of internal communication and workforce strategies.

Poppulo will be able to give businesses a more connected way to engage employees by merging Sociabble with its platform. Sociabble offers social intranet, tools for communication with frontline employees via mobile, recognition of employees, and advocacy functionalities that go well with Poppulo’s AI-driven communications.

“Organizations need clearer ways to connect communication to action,” said Ruth Fornell, CEO of Poppulo. “With Sociabble, we’re delivering a unified platform that works with the rest of their work tech—so leaders can reach every employee, understand what resonates, and drive meaningful outcomes across the business.”

The integrated platform has been created to allow businesses to make their internal communications easier and to enhance employee engagement for both deskbound and frontline employees. According to Poppulo, the integration would also result in greater automation and analytics potential, which will enable companies to analyze the efficiency of internal communication efforts and assess worker sentiments.

The merger is likely to prove helpful to various departments in a company, such as Human Resources, communications, operations, and IT departments. The role of CIOs and operations managers might get more efficient when it comes to analyzing workplace technologies and communication channels. Meanwhile, HR teams will be able to build better corporate culture and enhance worker engagement using workforce analytics.

Jean-Louis Bénard, CEO of Sociabble, emphasized the scale and innovation opportunities created by the deal. “Together with Poppulo, we bring a unique value proposition to the employee experience market, with the ability to reach and engage more than 50 million employees worldwide,” he said. “This scale gives us the strength to continue investing ambitiously in AI and innovation, two areas deeply rooted in the DNA of both companies.”

As enterprises continue consolidating workplace technologies, the acquisition positions Poppulo to offer a more connected and AI-enabled employee experience platform capable of supporting modern hybrid and frontline workforces at scale.
