Legion Technologies has announced the release of more than 90 new product enhancements aimed at advancing how organizations manage and optimize their hourly workforce. The latest updates strengthen Legion’s AI-powered workforce management platform, extending its ability to automate complex labor decisions across forecasting, scheduling, time and attendance, and workforce optimization at enterprise scale.
Built on Legion’s established AI foundation, the new capabilities introduce a more autonomous approach to workforce decision-making. Central to the release is a new generation of Legion AI Assistants. These assistants go beyond surface-level recommendations. They actively analyze labor data, balance competing constraints, and make real-time decisions. This shift helps organizations respond better to changing demand. It also keeps compliance and employee satisfaction in mind.
As profitability pressures grow in retail, Legion views workforce scheduling as a key strategy. It’s not just an administrative task. By aligning staffing with demand and sales signals, the platform boosts productivity. It does this without sacrificing employee preferences or engagement.
“Retailers don’t need AI in workforce management to give them answers; they need it to make more informed decisions and automate the right processes intelligently,” said Sanish Mondkar, CEO and founder of Legion. “Legion’s AI is designed to operate with the depth and rigor of a labor expert, not a chatbot. It reasons across demand signals, constraints, policies, and historical outcomes; explains trade-offs; and takes action in real-time. That is what allows our customers to scale automation without losing control, and to improve productivity without sacrificing employee trust.”

Among the key updates are enhanced labor planning tools that support advanced scenario modeling and real-time “what-if” analysis, ensuring plans adapt dynamically as conditions change. Configurable SmartCards deliver personalized insights to managers, while the upgraded AI Assistants enable deeper interrogation of schedules and forecasts, previously requiring analyst-level expertise.
Legion’s employee-first strategy continues to drive strong adoption across its engagement suite, which includes schedule flexibility, on-demand pay, and self-service tools. According to the company, customers using all three capabilities have recorded notable improvements in retention, employee satisfaction, and attendance reliability.
Legion’s innovation momentum has driven its business growth. In 2025, the company saw a 216% revenue increase. It gained recognition on the Inc. 5000 and Deloitte Fast 500 lists for the fourth year in a row. With operations in 35 countries and a growing presence in Europe, Legion strengthens its leadership in AI-driven workforce management.
