Visier Unveils MCP for AI Agents, Bringing Secure, Governed People Data to the Entire Enterprise

Share

Visier, a global leader in Workforce Intelligence, has expanded its generative AI strategy with the launch of Visier MCP (Model Context Protocol), a new server designed to deliver governed people insights directly into any AI agent or enterprise workflow. Announced at the company’s Outsmart Local conference in Brooklyn, the solution aims to eliminate the growing complexity of one-off agent integrations by acting as a universal connector between enterprise AI systems and trusted workforce data. Visier MCP is now an approved listing in Anthropic’s MCP directory, joining other major AI providers—including OpenAI and Google DeepMind—that have adopted the open-source standard.

The release addresses a pressing challenge for both IT and HR leaders: how to leverage AI effectively while ensuring responsible use of sensitive employee data. Workforce metrics must remain consistent across systems, and secure data access is essential for CIOs, CHROs, and people analytics teams.

“The market is quickly realizing that building DIY agents on top of context-poor APIs is a recipe for chaos,” said Ike Bennion, Vice President, Product Management, Platform, at Visier. “Our goal is to deliver context-rich Visier analytic insights through our customers’ preferred agentic workflows. We are providing the ‘USB-C for agents,’ a standardized way for IT to connect any agent to a single source of workforce truth that HR trusts.”

By extending people insights into the tools where business decisions occur, Visier MCP enables organizations to address complex, cross-functional challenges—such as combining workforce analytics with sales data to identify talent risks. The platform provides curated, policy-aligned data functions, helping enterprises amplify ROI, future-proof their AI ecosystems, and ensure consistent, governed insights across all agents.

Industry partners are already recognizing its potential. Amazon Bedrock’s Rajesh Sheth called MCP “a forward-thinking solution,” while Fuel50’s Chief Product Officer, Sean Sampoyo, emphasized its impact on internal mobility and skills retention. With MCP, Visier is positioning itself at the center of enterprise AI governance, integration, and workforce intelligence.
