CompScience has introduced its AI-powered Safe Work Plan platform to improve workplace safety for frontline workers by enabling real-time hazard identification and risk mitigation. Built on the National Safety Council’s Serious Incident and Fatality (SIF) Prevention Model, the platform allows workers to simply upload a photo of their job site and provide a short description, after which the system instantly identifies tasks, environmental conditions, and potential hazards while generating risk scores and recommended safeguards. The solution aims to embed safety planning directly into daily workflows, improving communication between workers and supervisors while reducing reliance on outdated paperwork-based safety systems.

“Our AI is empowering safety professionals with real-time intelligence about critical safeguards and high hazard work,” said Josh Butler, CEO of CompScience. The platform, which has already been piloted by companies such as Tesla and Conagra, is being offered free to increase accessibility. NSC CEO Lorraine Martin highlighted its importance, noting it supports proactive prevention of serious workplace incidents and helps organizations better identify and control high-risk tasks while reducing preventable fatalities.
