ESET Unveils AI Security Capabilities to Safeguard Enterprise AI Interactions

Share

ESET has launched a set of AI security features that target the protection of the enterprise-level use of chatbots and agentic AI processes, with an early release demonstrated at RSAC 2026 and further rollout anticipated later this year. The updates extend the scope of the ESET PROTECT Platform to include the tracking and security of AI-powered communications through prompt and response scans, thus reducing the risk of data leakage, detecting any potential threats, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The feature is intended to function as a security overlay in the browser, allowing for the blocking of malicious links, code execution, and upload of confidential information to third-party AI services.

It also extends protection to emerging AI supply chain risks, such as compromised frameworks and autonomous agents. Additionally, ESET launched a free AI Skills Checker to evaluate AI tools for hidden threats before deployment. “As companies rely more on AI for productivity and automation, they face growing risks around sensitive data exposure, compliance violations, and misleading outputs,” said Juraj Jánošík, ESET Director of Artificial Intelligence.
