Hirevue Acquires Hireguide Technology to Advance Agentic AI Hiring

Hirevue has acquired the technology behind Hireguide to strengthen its agentic AI hiring strategy and accelerate the development of intelligent, conversation-driven recruiting workflows. As organizations face rising application volumes driven partly by AI-generated resumes, the acquisition aims to help hiring teams better assess candidate capability earlier in the recruitment process. The Hireguide team will join Hirevue’s product organization, bringing expertise in conversational AI that will support the rollout of a series of hiring agents designed to automate candidate qualification while improving hiring accuracy and consistency.

The first major innovation from the integration is a voice-based AI Interviewer that enables conversational assessments at scale, providing deeper insights into candidate skills than traditional resume screening or text-based chatbots. “Hireguide’s innovation aligns to our vision for how AI agents can transform a hiring workflow from simple automation to a smarter way to qualify candidate capability at every touchpoint,” said Jeremy Friedman, Hirevue CEO. “We’re starting where the problem is most acute: cutting through the noise of AI-inflated resumes and unmanageable applicant volumes to surface the people who can actually do the job, earlier and with greater confidence so every hiring decision is grounded in proven capability.”
