Workera has launched Ambient, an AI-powered tool for measuring employee skills. This new feature works within daily tasks and is currently in a research preview. Ambient analyzes signals from tools like Slack, Gmail, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Asana, OpenAI, and Claude. It evaluates skills without tests, certifications, or traditional reviews. The platform tackles the challenge of fast-changing workforce skills. Organizations want real-time insights into employee development. Ambient finds skill gaps and offers personalized coaching and learning suggestions right in the workflow.

This creates a continuous feedback loop for growth. “Until today, learning happened in moments: a lecture, a session with a mentor, feedback from a manager,” said Kian Katanforoosh, CEO of Workera. He added, “Ambient coaches your career the way a ring on your finger coaches your sleep. Continuously. Without interrupting any of it.” Workera emphasized that the platform follows a consent-first architecture, allowing employees to maintain control over their data while organizations receive only aggregated, de-identified insights.
