Employbridge, the largest industrial staffing company in the United States, has appointed Janette Marx as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 26, 2026. Marx succeeds Bill Grubbs, who has served as Interim CEO since July 2025. Grubbs will transition into the role of Executive Chairman of the Employbridge Board of Directors and continue to support the company as an advisor during the leadership transition.
Marx brings three decades of experience building and scaling workforce solutions organizations. Most recently, she served as CEO of Airswift, a global staffing and workforce solutions firm supporting the energy, process, and infrastructure sectors. Prior to Airswift, Marx spent 19 years with the Adecco Group, holding leadership roles across North America and multiple business lines. Throughout her career, she has led organizations from frontline operations through executive management, with a consistent focus on growth, operational excellence, and team development.
“Janette is a trusted and proven leader in the staffing industry whose career includes significant breadth, depth, and global leadership,” said Robert Kalsow-Ramos, Partner at Apollo. “With three decades of experience building and scaling workforce solutions businesses, she has done so through building high-performing teams, championing careers, and driving growth through innovation and operational rigor. Her industry expertise, vision for the future of work, and commitment to community make her an exceptional leader for Employbridge and the talent we serve.”

“I am thrilled to join the Employbridge team where the future of work is being shaped,” said Marx. “To be at the forefront of connecting talent with opportunity and driving growth through innovation, trust, and people is at the heart of who I am as a leader. The prospects ahead are limitless, and I am honored to be part of such an incredible organization.”
Kalsow-Ramos also acknowledged Grubbs’ leadership during a pivotal period for the company. “On behalf of the Board and all of Employbridge, I would like to thank Bill for serving as Interim CEO and advancing the company’s strategy through a focus on execution and growth,” he said. “Bill will remain a trusted advisor for Employbridge, and we are fortunate to retain his four decades of workforce solutions knowledge as Executive Chairman of the Employbridge Board of Directors.”
With an experienced board, new executive leadership, and an established national footprint, Employbridge aims to further strengthen its role as a critical partner across the U.S. industrial supply chain.
