Ten Thousand Coffees (10KC), a leading mentorship and peer learning platform, has acquired Abode, a top provider of early talent engagement software. The strategic move creates the first comprehensive platform designed to support cohort-based talent development across the entire employee lifecycle—from internship through leadership.

The acquisition merges Abode’s early-career programming capabilities with 10KC’s strength in post-hire development, offering HR, L&D, and Talent teams a single system to deliver impactful, scalable, and personalized learning experiences. The unified platform provides smart matching, built-in community features, centralized communication, and robust analytics to foster higher engagement and retention.

Organizations using both platforms have already reported significant gains, including a 50% drop in preboarding reneges, a 27% increase in early talent conversion, and a 60% boost in internal mobility. These outcomes signal the growing need for integrated tools that deliver consistent, high-impact employee development.

As part of the transition, Siegel and Abode co-founder Evan Deere will assume leadership roles at 10KC as CEO and CTO, respectively. Customers of both platforms will continue to receive uninterrupted service, with new features and capabilities rolling out soon.
