Udemy and Glean Partner to Embed AI-Powered Learning Directly Into Workplace Workflows

Share

Udemy has announced a new integration with Glean. This integration embeds adaptive, AI-driven learning into everyday workplace systems. It connects real-time work context with skills development. This offers businesses a modern alternative to traditional learning management systems. Organizations are speeding up AI adoption across their operations.

As companies roll out AI-enabled tools and workflows, many struggle to ensure employees can use them effectively. The Udemy–Glean integration solves this problem by providing learning right when it’s needed. It does this in the same places where work happens, not through separate training platforms.

Using the Udemy MCP Server, organizations can show role-specific Udemy Business content in AI agents, workflows, and enterprise search powered by Glean. Glean improves this by adding contextual signals like internal documents, related training, and company resources. Together, these platforms mix curated courses, hands-on labs, and practice simulations with real-world context. This helps speed up skill acquisition and shortens the time to proficiency.

“This partnership represents Udemy’s shift from content delivery to orchestrating learning that helps individuals unlock their full potential in an AI-driven workplace,” said Hugo Sarrazin, President and CEO at Udemy. “We’re empowering our customers with a smarter, simpler way to upskill their teams while saving time, reducing costs, and eliminating the complexity of legacy learning systems. The integration empowers our customers to maximize their AI investments while maintaining human oversight and strategic direction.”

The integration aims to solve key enterprise issues. These include fragmented skills development, underused AI tools, and stalled digital transformation. It triggers relevant learning when skills gaps arise. This way, organizations offer just-in-time guidance. Employees can then apply new knowledge right away and with confidence.

Glean CEO Arvind Jain emphasized the value of contextual learning. “By integrating Udemy’s curated skills content with Glean’s AI platform, we’re co-creating contextual, AI-powered learning experiences that deliver the right content at the exact moment employees need it,” he said. “Whether onboarding, problem-solving, or developing new skills, employees will be able to access relevant Udemy courses and AI-powered learning experiences tailored to each employee’s role, making continuous learning as seamless as finding a document or joining a meeting.”

The UdemyGlean integration is now available to joint enterprise customers, with options to deploy pre-built learning agents or customize solutions using more than 30,000 Udemy Business courses combined with internal workflows and tools.
