LifeSpeak Brings Parenting and Caregiving Support Into Its Unified Wellness Platform

Share

LifeSpeak has further diversified its wellness solution with the introduction of a new Parenting & Caregiving Wellness Track, which now seamlessly incorporates Torchlight Parenting & Caregiving into the LifeSpeak solution. This represents a transition from a caregiving solution to a fully integrated and personalized solution aimed at supporting employees while making it easier for employers to administer.

Organizations can now provide caregiving support, together with Mental Health, Fitness & Nutrition, and Substance Use Health, all through one solution with the integration. Employers can provide caregiving as a standalone solution or in combination with other wellness solutions, as needed, to different segments of their workforce.

“Torchlight has long been a trusted resource for supporting working caregivers,” said Jason Campana, CEO of LifeSpeak. “Bringing it onto LifeSpeak’s evolved platform gives employers the flexibility to offer caregiving as a standalone solution or alongside other wellbeing support, without managing multiple vendors. What sets this apart is that caregivers are not only supported with navigation and expert guidance—they also receive curated self-care resources designed specifically for caregivers, drawing from LifeSpeak’s mental health, fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness expertise. We’re supporting the whole person, not just the caregiving role.”

The Parenting & Caregiving Wellness Track is designed to support employees across the full caregiving lifecycle, from fertility and parenting to disability care, chronic illness, eldercare, and end-of-life planning. Personalized experiences are provided to employees through caregiver profiles, content hubs, live expert sessions, and access to credentialed advisors and concierge services, with guidance informed by geography and life stage.

The launch is timely as caregiving pressures continue to impact the workforce. It is estimated that one in four employees is currently balancing caregiving responsibilities, with a significant number of employees experiencing symptoms of depression. LifeSpeak reports that 97 percent of members say the platform helps them manage stress more effectively, while 92 percent say access to LifeSpeak increases their likelihood of staying with their employer.

“Caregiving doesn’t look the same for everyone, and it rarely follows a linear path,” said Amanda Martell, Director of Human Resources at LifeSpeak. “When support is personalized and visible, rather than siloed or hard to find, it signals to employees that their employer understands the realities they’re navigating and is committed to supporting them long term.”

Launching in conjunction with National Caregivers Day, the new wellness track is built to scale year-round, supported by ready-to-use onboarding, communications, and engagement resources that minimize additional burden on HR and benefits teams.
