The main aim of the course is to change the view of safety AI from being a means of monitoring employees to be a protective tool for workers. The course content is divided into four main areas: getting to grips with the basics of computer vision and machine learning for hazard detection, employing AI insights for proactive risk management, putting privacy-first AI into practice, and handling organizational change during safety technology rollouts.

Attendees will be taught how AI can be used to detect workplace hazards ahead of accident while at the same time helping build a safety-first culture that also respects workforce’s trust. The program also emphasizes ethical AI deployment through data anonymization and responsible technology practices.

“Safety AI shouldn’t be about watching people; it should be about protecting them,” said Dan Hobbs, CEO at Protex AI. “As an industrial AI provider, we see firsthand how technology can elevate a business. With this certification, we are giving EHS leaders the exact blueprint they need to deploy safety AI ethically and effectively. This is about giving safety teams a digital assistant that helps eliminate risks, while respecting and supporting the workforce every step of the way.”

Upon successful completion, participants will earn the AI-Ready EHS Leader Designation, recognizing their ability to lead modern safety technology initiatives built on both innovation and privacy.
