Contrario, a recruiting platform that uses AI built by two Stanford dropouts, Arya Marwaha and Aditya Sood, has made its official launch following the company’s success in generating $6 million in annualized revenue, as well as disbursing more than $1 million to recruiters in the first half-year since its inception. The platform is designed for high-growth companies to enable them to recruit people effectively, thanks to its AI-powered recruiting agents that automatically perform tedious tasks such as searching candidates and organizing interviews. Currently, the platform is used by more than 200 high-growth startups, some of which include Slash, Wispr Flow, and Listen Labs.

Furthermore, Contrario recently raised $2.3 million in seed funding from Nexus Venture Partners. By using Contrario, companies can solve their recruitment problems, which have become more difficult to tackle due to the emergence of the AI workforce competition. “Hiring isn’t about seeing more candidates, it’s about finding the right ones,” said Marwaha, Co-founder and CEO of Contrario. “The problem is most teams are buried in admin work instead of evaluating talent. We built Contrario to help both companies and recruiters surface high-quality talent and take the rest off their plate.” He added, “Founders should be spending their time pitching the company, evaluating talent, and closing great hires. Not managing the process around it.”
