Greenhouse Software has successfully completed the acquisition of Ezra AI Labs and has added conversational AI capabilities to its platform that will enable improved screening of candidates and increase the productivity of recruiters. Greenhouse’s structured hiring approach can now be used from the very beginning of the recruiting process to facilitate more AI-based interviewing of job seekers before recruiters gain access to resumes. The Ezra solution performs structured, on-demand voice-based interviewing that uses questions and rating scales developed specifically for each position.

As part of the acquisition, Ezra co-founder Ophir Samson will serve as the Head of Voice AI at Greenhouse. “Closing this deal marks the start of a different kind of AI in hiring, one that gives candidates a real shot and gives recruiters a real signal,” said Daniel Chait, CEO and Co-founder of Greenhouse. Ezra will continue operating as a standalone solution for both Greenhouse customers and organizations using competing platforms, while future integrations will focus on interviewing, talent matching, and candidate experience enhancements.
