Seattle University is advancing its commitment to a modern, connected campus by selecting Workday, Inc., the leading AI-powered platform for managing people and finance, to transform its human resources operations alongside its finance and student systems.

With the adoption of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), Seattle University will unify its HR processes onto a single cloud-based platform, streamlining operations for faculty, staff, and HR teams across its seven colleges and two campuses. By eliminating more than a dozen outdated systems, the university aims to boost efficiency, simplify everyday HR tasks, and enhance the overall employee experience.

Seattle University’s HR teams will gain real-time visibility into critical workforce metrics, including staffing needs, recruitment pipelines, and employee engagement trends. This integrated insight will enable leaders to make data-informed decisions, adapt workforce strategies as the institution grows, and strengthen its position as an employer of choice within higher education.

For employees, the Workday HCM platform will make routine tasks such as benefits management, onboarding, and career development more intuitive and accessible from any device, helping staff stay focused on supporting students and advancing the university’s mission.
