WorkJam Introduces Manufacturing Connect to Strengthen Frontline Workforce Engagement

Share

WorkJam has launched Manufacturing Connect. This platform focuses on frontline engagement to solve communication and workforce issues in manufacturing. Introduced from the company’s Montreal headquarters, it offers universal communication, Early Wage Access, real-time recognition, and safety compliance. It meets the needs of multi-shift operations, unionized workforces, and complex production environments.

Designed for industries like automotive, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors, Manufacturing Connect aims to bridge information gaps. This often leaves frontline workers disconnected from leadership and important updates. “Manufacturing Connect gives every worker a direct connection to recognition, growth opportunities, and meaningful participation in company success. When workers feel valued, retention, safety, quality, and innovation all improve,” said Steven Kramer, CEO of WorkJam.

The platform tackles high turnover in manufacturing, which is 28.6% annually. It tackles disengagement from night shift workers missing updates. It also addresses delays in recognition and feedback not reaching decision-makers. Manufacturing Connect replaces bulletin boards and paper processes with mobile-first communication in over 50 languages. This gives every worker quick access to operational info, safety protocols, and learning resources.

Kramer emphasized the broader impact of the technology: “Manufacturing’s biggest challenge isn’t operational—it’s that frontline workers feel invisible and disconnected. Manufacturing Connect gives every worker—regardless of shift, location, or language—a direct connection to recognition, growth opportunities, and meaningful participation in company success. When workers feel valued, everything improves: retention, safety, quality, and innovation.”

Key capabilities include instant emergency notifications, real-time recognition tools, mobile microlearning for safety and compliance, AI-powered support, and Early Wage Access through WorkJam’s DailyPay partnership at no cost to employers. The solution also supports job-specific upskilling directly on the shop floor and provides enterprise-level security and compliance templates.

Early adopters like General Motors, Ford, Penguin Random House, and Mouser Electronics have seen better communication reach, stronger engagement, and reduced turnover intent. The platform can work as a standalone app or be added to existing employee portals. This lets plants confirm performance gains before expanding organization-wide.
