Remote Acquires Atlas to Strengthen Global HR, Payroll, and Spend Management

Share

Remote has completed the acquisition of Atlas, an expense management platform for global teams, expanding its employment operating system with integrated financial tools designed to simplify how distributed organizations spend and scale. As global hiring accelerates beyond headquarters locations, companies continue to face fragmented processes for managing employee expenses, stipends, and benefits across borders. Atlas addresses these challenges through an AI-native platform that includes a global employee card for managing expenses worldwide, a flexible points-based system that removes the need for reimbursements, and integrated access to local healthcare coverage across key markets such as the U.S., Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina.
