Rain Brings Earned Wage Access Directly Into Microsoft Teams

Share

Rain has launched a new integration with Microsoft Teams. This lets employees view their earned wages directly in the app. With this, Rain becomes one of the first earned wage access (EWA) providers to embed its solution in Teams. Now, workers can check their earned wage balance before payday. They can do this in the same digital workspace they use for communication, scheduling, and updates. Designed to support frontline employees in particular, the move aims to boost adoption by placing financial wellness tools inside an already familiar environment.

“Earned wage access is proving to be an essential employer-sponsored benefit offering for employees,” said Rain’s VP of Channel Sales & Partnerships, Shohan Rahman. “With Microsoft Teams, one of the most widely used workplace platforms, employees can easily see their earned wage balance in a platform they engage with every day. And because of this increased adoption of Rain within Teams, we can now work more closely with Microsoft.” Jeff Strasser, general manager, AI Business Solutions, US Retail & CPG at Microsoft, added that the integration highlights how partners extend Teams’ value, particularly for frontline worker scenarios.
