Crosschq has teamed up with ID.me to improve how identity is checked during hiring. It seems hard to ignore the benefits of this new connection. Now, identity verification is part of Crosschqs hiring intelligence platform. Organizations can spot fake candidates and remove them without slowing down the hiring flow.
The partnership allows companies using Crosschq to start ID.mes checks at key hiring stages. For example, they can run the process when reviewing resumes, during interviews, in assessment results, or when checking references. These steps help keep only real applicants moving forward. After the candidate has completed the process through ID.me’s verified platform, the outcome is then sent to Crosschq.
“Employers are navigating a rapidly evolving hiring landscape where AI is ubiquitous and candidate fraud is becoming more sophisticated and harder to pinpoint,” said Mike Fitzsimmons, Crosschq CEO. “Our vision is to help employers make every hire a quality hire, and that starts with identifying and spending more time with real, qualified candidates. This partnership with ID.me reinforces our commitment to creating a safe, smart, and assessment-driven process that will lead to better hiring decisions.”

The aim is to assist companies in minimizing the possibility of fake profiles and untruthful candidates without making the hiring process more difficult for candidates. Verification measures can be added to existing systems for candidates easily, allowing hiring staff to verify their identities quickly.
Rather than relying on standalone tools, ID.me works directly within the Crosschqs platform. Does this mean applicants still face fewer hurdles during the review phase? The solution works with popular HR systems like Workday Salesforce SAP, Oracle iCIMS Bullhorn Greenhouse SmartRecruiters, and Paradox, thereby making identity verification an integral part of the systematic hiring processes.
Taylor Liggett, Chief Growth Officer at ID.me, emphasized the urgency of addressing emerging threats: “We’ve gone from resume fraud to deepfake interviews to nation-state actors infiltrating U.S. employers and traditional hiring safeguards weren’t built for any of it. Employers need identity proofing embedded directly in their hiring workflows, not bolted on after the fact.”
Crosschq boosts identity checks during key recruitment stages. This helps companies keep hiring secure and data-driven. It also protects against rising AI-driven candidate fraud.
