Gusto has acquired Mosey, an artificial intelligence-driven compliance management solution for small businesses. It is a strategic step for Gusto to diversify its operations from payroll and HR to include compliance management services for small firms. Through the merger, more than 400,000 Gusto users will be able to handle their state and local registrations, applications, renewals, and compliance processes using one platform. As small firms incur substantially higher compliance costs than large organizations and must comply with thousands of new rules each year, there is a pressing need for a solution.
