Skillsoft Reports Surge in AI Skills Validation as Workforce Prioritizes Proficiency

Skillsoft has reported a dramatic rise in demand for validated AI skills, signaling a shift from basic training to measurable proficiency as organizations embed AI into daily operations. Based on the latest report by the company, there has been a 994% increase in Skill Benchmark completion rates in the area of artificial intelligence compared to last year, along with a 261% increase in the completion of AI content, a 222% increase in AI learning journey completion, and a 241% increase in the number of achievement badges. It shows that there is a shift towards verifying the practical knowledge and skills of individuals concerning AI in addition to course completion rates.

“As organizations accelerate AI adoption, determining which skills humans should develop versus those handled by AI has become paramount,” said Michael Rochelle, Chief Strategy Officer and Principal Analyst at Brandon Hall Group. “Organizations also need clearer ways to identify talent who can apply AI in real business scenarios.
