EarnIn, a leader in earnings management solutions, has unveiled Live Pay, a pioneering technology that allows workers to access their wages in real time—eliminating the traditional wait for payday. The feature is available exclusively through the new EarnIn Card, which gives users a continuous stream of their earned income, updated every second as they work.
Live Pay marks a transformative shift in payroll systems, aligning with EarnIn’s mission to give workers greater financial autonomy. Now open for early access via a public waitlist, the EarnIn Card offers up to $1,500 per pay period (eligibility-based), without interest, hidden fees, or credit checks. It is accepted anywhere Visa is and is also designed to help users build credit over time.
“The natural evolution of any batch-based system is continuous — and payroll is no different,” said Ram Palaniappan, Founder and CEO of EarnIn. “Earned wage access was a step in that direction, but it was inevitable that pay would move like everything else in your life — in real time… Live Pay gives workers access to money they’ve already earned, putting them back in control of their financial timing.”

Live Pay extends EarnIn’s portfolio of worker-first financial tools, including its Early Pay feature that grants access to paychecks up to two days early. The new solution aims to bridge the gap between earning and spending, allowing users to manage expenses more predictably and proactively.
“I used to be restricted in how and when I could pay bills,” said EarnIn Card user Madeline Harrison. “Now I can see what I have, pay for things earlier, and actually plan.”
The concept is also backed by investors like Andreessen Horowitz. “Live Pay fundamentally changes the relationship between time, work, and money… We believe this shift will underpin the next generation of financial services,” said General Partner Alex Rampell.
With Live Pay, EarnIn continues its drive to modernize the paycheck experience—transforming income access from a biweekly event into a real-time financial tool for today’s workforce.
